Superiority
ZHS-H03 is recommended for use in all concentrations of HCl and HCl/HF (mud acid) mixtures up to 220℃. ZHS-H03 is preferably added with the water during loading operations to insure better dispersion during acid loading. A small amount of mixing after the acid is loaded is recommended for maximum inhibitor dispersion and protection.
Details
HCl of any strength has an undesirable reaction on steel. The amount of damage will depend upon contact time, acid strength, and temperature conditions. As bottom hole temperatures increase, the effectiveness of many moderate temperature acid inhibitors decreases below desirable protection levels. ZHS-03 corrosion inhibitor for a new generation of high temperature acid corrosion inhibitor, does not contain alkyne and its derivatives antimony, bismuth, copper and other heavy metal compounds. The corrosive action of acid on steel at high bottom-hole temperatures can be greatly reduced at temperatures up to 220℃ by adding ZHS-H03 to the acid mixture.
